Tiny & Toya

BET has their own version of the Real Housewives, except Tiny (Tameka Cottle) and Toya (Toya Johnson-Carter) are attached to two of the biggest names in hip hop. Tiny is a former member of the 90s girl group Xscape, and the fiancee of rapper TI (Currently in prison on gun charges). They also have several children. And Toya is Lil Wayne's ex-wife.

These women also have real problems. TI is in prison, and her father is suffering from Alzheimer. And we will get to see Toya struggling to help her mother, who has a drug problem, get off the streets and clean. These women are the real thing, not the fakers of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Tiny & Toya airs on BET at 9pm on Tuesdays.

Expert Make-up Tips from Napoleon Perdis!!

The city of Houston was taken by storm, when the vibrant, boisterous and all around adorable celebrity make-up artist Napoleon Perdis came for a visit last week. If you don't know his name, you should. Not only did he have his own show on TLC, but he has also made up the faces of celebrities like Debra Messing, Evangeline Lilly, LeAnn Rimes, Amanda Bynes, Miley Cyrus and oodles more.

The fabulous Napoleon was kind enough to hang out with me at the St. Regis, share his stellar cosmetic line NPset (now at Target), and teach me some expert make-up tips and tricks. Want to know his secrets? Here they are...

Mascara First

Before anything else. Really. Don't apply a drop of foundation or concealer until you swipe that mascara wand. When I asked why, Napoleon explained, "mascara gives you the map for the make-up for your face." Once your eyes get that wake up call, you may find that you don't even need much additional make-up. How brilliant!

Update your Look

So many of us get cozy with certain colors or products and never try anything new. Sometimes even for decades! Don't allow yourself to get stuck in a cosmetic rut. I played with the NP Denim Set (pictured below) over the weekend, and found Napoleon's palette to be an excellent cure for make-up monotony. The colorful palette even includes instructions for applying both a.m. and p.m. looks. SO much fun.

Play with color

While we were playing with NPset, Napoleon applied a touch of orange shadow to my eyelids. Orange?? Why would I ever try orange eye shadow? Well man I wish I would have. It was subtle, made my eyes pop, and just plain looked amazing. What a shock!

Details Have Come Out About Jada Justice's Murder

Police arrested the 18-year-old cousin of Jada Justice, Engelica Castillo and the cousin's boyfriend, Tim Tkachik for the 2-year-old's murder. In addition to the murder charge they are charged with two counts of neglect of a dependent, battery and false informing.

Little Jada's body was found burned and encased in cement in a local swamp. Police believe that she was already dead and in the swamp when her cousin, the girl's babysitter, reported her missing. Two days later Tkachik went to the emergency room where he was treated for burns that he claims were the result of a propane tank explosion.

Tkachik finally led the police to Jada's body last week. His story is that Engelica Castillo repeatedly beat Jada causing her to hit her head on a table. When he couldn't stop the abuse he went into another room to watch tv (sounds fishy to me). It wasn't until they went to buy heroin that they realized that the little girl was dead. They went home after buying the heroin and placed the body into plastic bags. The next morning they tried to burn the body. When that failed, they put the body into a bathtub and poured concrete over her. They then dumped the body into the swamp.

They then went home, took some more heroin, and tried to come up with a cover story. The next day they reported the girl missing.

When police accused Castillo of lying about the disappearance, she attempted to hit the police and told them, "God is taking care of her. God is watching over her." Those are always words that alert police that YOU have something to do with a disappearance, but murderers never get tired using the same sorry line.

Cupcake Social

Cupcake Social's Etsy site is so cheerful, it never fails to bring a smile to my face. The photography is wonderful. The store sells cupcake cups and decorations, and nothing else. It is a quick for those of us with limited cake decorating skills to make our cupcakes extra special.

The Houston Museum of Natural Science has their Mixers and Elixirs event every Friday this summer, through August 26th. They've got some tasty hors d'oeuvres, fully stocked bars, and always a live band. Just be sure to bring cash money with you, as the bars are paper money only. Michael Jackson's Victim Speaks?

I don't think that this story is true, but it has been creeping around the internet. But none of the sources are too reliable. It is being claimed that Evan Chandler is saying that he lied about being molested by Michael Jackson. Here is the text, but I think it is a hoax.

In 1993, Chandler told a psychiatrist and police that he and Jackson had engaged in sexual acts that included oral sex, the boy gave detailed description of Jackson’s genitals. The case was settled out of court for a reported $22 million, but the strain led Jackson to begin taking painkillers. Eventually he became addicted.

Now maybe for the remorse of his death Chandler decides to tell us the truth. “I never meant to lie and destroy Michael Jackson but my father made me to tell only lies. Now i can’t tell Michael how much i’m sorry and if he will forgive me”. Evan Chandler was tape-recorded saying amongst other things, “If I go through with this, I win big-time. There”s no way I lose. I will get everything I want and they will be destroyed forever”.

Under the influence of a controversial father (Jordan Chandler) told his son to tell that Jackson had touched his penis. Jordan Chandler then told a psychiatrist and later police that he and Jackson had engaged in acts of kissing, masturbation and oral sex, as well as giving a detailed description of what he alleged were the singer’s genitals.

“Now for the first time i can’t bare to lie anymore. Michael Jackson didn’t do anything to me, all was my father lies to escape from being poor.”

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson died yesterday at 50. I can't say that I am completely surprised, even though I thought that he would die during plastic surgery. What I am wondering is what will happen to his children? I am sure Blanket will go to family members, but what will happen to Prince Michael and Paris. They have a "mother". Will she seek custody? She wasn't a exactly a surrogate, she was his "wife" at the time the children were born. Will Debbie try to reclaim her children? Or will she just let them go to the Jacksons? They don't have the greatest track record raising children. I guess it will be up to the courts to decide.

And will this be their chance to finally live a more normal life. Will they get to go to a school with other children? Will they be able to go outside without masks?

And what will they be left with? Michael Jackson was hovering near bankruptcy. Those London concerts would have cleared out his massive debt, but it is not to be.

You have to feel sorry for the kids. They were effectively orphaned yesterday. Even though the oldest two have a mother, she abandoned them in the middle of the Michael Jackson freakshow. They must harbor some resentment. And not only have they lost their father, but they lost the ringmaster to that freakshow.

Haylee Donathan Won't Be Allowed To See Mother

A 4-year-old, whose mother took her cross-country with her sex-offender boyfriend, won't be handed back to her mother, according to the girl's maternal grandmother.

"There's no way that I would do that," Mary Watson said Wednesday on HLN's "Nancy Grace."

Watson said she plans to follow the decisions of social services agencies overseeing the well-publicized case of young Haylee Donathan and will not let Haylee see her mother, Candace Watson.

"If (she) is not allowed to see her, she is not allowed to see her," Mary Watson said. "That's the way it is going to be."

Candace Watson, 24, and her boyfriend, Robbi Porter, 27, were arrested Tuesday in a raid at The Morning Star Ranch, a Christian communal farm in a rural part of San Diego County, California.

Authorities also found Haylee at the ranch and said they plan to return the girl to her grandmother.

Haylee had been missing for 27 days and the search to find her had been highlighted by national television current-affairs shows.

The grandmother, who received temporary court-ordered custody of the girl so an Amber Alert could be issued during the search, said she had not seen Haylee since she was found because she was being examined in California. Shortly after she was found, the girl was said to be in good condition.

"I want to tell her how I love her and we all love her and want her to come home soon," Mary Watson said.

Acting on a tip from former retreat visitors who saw a billboard of Haylee in the Las Vegas area, law enforcement stormed the usually placid ranch, whose members work the land, do household chores and share Christian beliefs and teachings. Video

The search for Haylee was sparked by authorities' concern for her safety.

Investigators say the three left Mansfield, Ohio, by car on May 28. The same day, Candace Watson and others allegedly had helped Porter escape from a halfway house, according to officials.

After she was arrested, Watson said she "was in love with him and knew she would help him any way she could," Pete Elliott, the U.S. marshal for the northern district of Ohio, told "Nancy Grace."

There Won't Be A Real Housewives' Sex Tape

The sex tape with Danielle of The Real Housewives of New Jersey does exist, but a judge has temporarily blocked its release. Danielle is claiming that the tape was made without her knowledge using a cell phone by then boyfriend, Stephen Zalewski. All I have to say is that if you act like a tramp, a man will treat you like a tramp. I bet that once someone offers more money for the tape, she will sign every release form they slap in front of her. Because she is all about the money, and there isn't any sugar daddy in that aging gold diggers future. There is video of her victory speech below.

Haylee Donathan Found

A 4-year-old Ohio girl who vanished more than three weeks ago was found alive and in good condition, halfway across the country in southern California, authorities said.

Haylee Donathan, her mother Candace Watson and Robbie Potter were discovered hiding for the past week at The Morning Star Ranch, a retreat in Valley Center, near San Diego, said Peter Elliott, United States Marshal for the Northern District of Ohio.

Potter is a registered sex offender, officials said. He was being sought by the U.S. Marshal's Service.

Late Tuesday Haylee was in the custody of a children's protective services agency in the San Diego County area, Elliott said. She was doing well but may have chicken pox, he added.

"We understand she is healthy and happy and I believe, waiting to come back to her grandmother here," he said.
The journey west took them more than two thousand miles from Mansfield, the north-Central Ohio city where the girl and her mother live.

"I am very happy that my granddaughter's coming home," said Mary Watson, Haylee's grandmother. "And I just want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart."

Watson, 24, and Potter, 27, were arrested without incident and held by the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. When asked their reaction, Elliott said, "I believe a little shocked that we were able to find them."

Potter and Watson were still using the same vehicle, a 1980s blue Chevrolet pickup truck they drove from Ohio, Elliott said.

Watson's hair was a bit darker and Potter also changed his appearance slightly.

Authorities had feared Haylee was endangered. Potter, a sex offender, had escaped a half-way house on May 28, the day the girl and her mother fell out of sight.

Countless tips came in while they were missing but one in particular led to the breakthrough on Tuesday, Elliott said without elaborating.

But a tip from members of the ranch could have lead to the raid and arrest, a ranchmember told CNN.

Kevin Carlin, a member of the ranch in the neighborhood of Valley Center, told CNN in a telephone interview that ranch members became suspicious when a former ranch guest saw billboards urging help in finding Haylee and the two adults.

Elliott also praised intense national news coverage from programs such as HLN's Nancy Grace and Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell, as well as local media and Clear Channel, which put up missing child billboards across the country.

When she is returned to Ohio, Haylee will be placed in the custody of her grandmother, Elliott said. (Will she be safe with the grandmother. The grandmother raised the mother, who thinks that following a registered sex offender cross country is fine, and the uncle, a registered sex offender. There appears to be a problem in the family.) The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force had offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of 27-year-old Potter.

Potter was wanted on a state warrant for parole violation and a federal warrant for probation violation. He is a convicted tier three sex offender, according to the U.S. Marshals Service, a unit of the Justice Department.

While on the run, Potter and Watson were reportedly seen on surveillance video on May 31 at a Wal-Mart Store in Marion, Ohio, 40 miles from Mansfield. Haylee was not on that video.

Adding to concerns, Watson's roommate, Samantha Covert, said last week in an interview on Nancy Grace that she saw the little girl in bed with her mother and Potter the morning they disappeared. Covert said Watson carried a basket of clothing, pillows and blankets.

Watson will likely face state charges, including harboring a fugitive, according to Elliott.

In addition to other charges, he said Potter may be prosecuted under the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act, a federal sex offender registration and self-reporting law that carries a multi-year felony sentence if violated.

On its Web site, the Morning Star Ranch describes itself as "a community of growers of organic, pesticide-free avocados, grapefruit, persimmons, nuts, and other produce."

Elliot said he believed it is a rehab facility and also called it a Christian retreat.

Lately I have been stockpiling adorable summer outfits for my little girl from thrift stores and sale racks. One of my favorite items for her this summer is the romper. Strangely enough, these are getting really popular for adults. Though you will not see me wearing one of these on my post-baby body, there is something so cute about these little one-piece outfits for grown-ups. There Will Be Coroner's Inquest In Death Of Coleman Family

A coroner's inquest will be held after all in the southwestern Illinois slayings of a Columbia mother and her two sons.

31-year-old Sheri Coleman and her children, 11-year-old Garett and 9-year-old Gavin, were found strangled to death in their Columbia home on May 5, 2009. Coleman's husband, Chris, is charged with three counts of first degree murder in the deaths of his wife and children. Authorities have said that all three victims were strangled with some type of wire, rope or cord.

An inquest is a judicial investigation by a group of court-appointed people, including a medical examination by a coroner, into the cause of a death that was sudden, violent or suspicious.

Monroe County Coroner Julie Gummersheimer initially decided not to have a coroner's jury hear the case involving Sheri Coleman and the boys.

Gummersheimer says she reconsidered after discussing the matter with investigators and the prosecutor's office. The inquest will be held July 10 in Waterloo.

Illinois statutes don't require an inquest, but leave it up to the county coroner whether or not to hold one.

Chris Coleman’s was having an affair with Tara Lintz, a Florida woman. Lintz was interviewed by police in St. Petersburg, Fla., in the days following the murders. She admitted to investigators that she had sexually explicit communications with Chris Coleman by phone and email. She said their sexual relationship began in November 2008 and the two planned to get married in 2010 after Chris Coleman had divorced his wife.

Lintz was a high school friend of Sheri Coleman, and had worked at strip club in Florida. Lintz told police she had talked to her lover the evening of May 4, just hours before the murders.

Chris Coleman maintains his innocence. He has pleaded not guilty and has been ordered to stand trial. He remained jailed Monday without bond.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick Reveal Baby Names

Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker will call their twin babies, Marion Loretta Elwell(5lbs 11oz) and Tabitha Hodge(6lbs) Broderick. According to the statement that the couple released Hodge and Elwell are both family names. I do feel sorry for little Marion Loretta, both such old lady names and not in a cool way. But I guess all Marions were babies once.

The statement also said that,"The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon."

Tori Spelling has designed a collection of jewelry for HSN. The pieces look like cheap copies of designer pieces. You could probably find similar pieces at Target or some store in the mall for a third of the price. Prices range from $19.95 to $99.95.

Gisele Bundchen

Gisele Bundchen isn't looking very pregnant to me. I think the baby bump at Brazil's Fashion Week was just the result of the clothes that the she was wearing. This is her yesterday.

Jon &Kate Show On Hiatus

Production has been halted on Jon & Kate Plus 8 following the Gosselins' Monday revelation they're splitting up, the network has announced.

TLC says next Monday's episode will feature a clip package with some new footage, but the next all-new episode won't air until August 3, the Los Angeles Times reports. The Times says the decision came from the network -- not the family. (Because Jon and Kate are all about the money. They would willing throw their children's well-being under the bus for a few extra dollars.)

Only six episodes of the 40-episode season have aired. Through tears on Monday's show, Kate declared "the show must go on!"

Jon & Kate Plus 8 has become TLC's highest-rated show. Its May premiere drew in 9.8-million viewers, a record for the network. (And ratings quickly fell because nobody wanted to watch the Jon and Kate that they have become.)

The Times says TLC does not have enough footage to put together new episodes because of the Gosselins' marital turmoil.

Episodes that were televised this season were often shot last-minute and even completed on the day of airing.And here is the rest of it.

Sarah Jessica Parker Mom To Twin Girls

The surrogate for Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick has given birth to twin girls. The girls will join big brother, James,6. A spokesman for East Ohio Regional Hospital had no comment other than, "everything's good." And representatives for the couple are also being hush-hush.

I'm loving these simple leather cross-body bags. I have always appreciated the safety and convenience of fanny packs, but these fill the bill and are stylish at the same time. I can't remember where the second one is from, I think it was an ebay listing a few weeks back, so it's probably gone, but the rest are on Etsy: here, here and here.
