In home staging, I love using fresh flowers in homes, but it isn't always possible. What if the property is vacant? What if the home owners don't want to keep replacing flowers? Here's a fun, colorful solution that won't wither and die on you:)
Word on the street is that we have an "arctic blast" headed our way next week. Better rush order one of these cozy bedding sets from John Robshaw Textiles.
Okay, I don't want to give away ALL of my home staging secrets, but here is one that is WAY too good to keep to myself. This bad boy is called a "Grout Aid Marker," and if the grout in your bathroom or kitchen needs help, this thing is a lifesaver. It covers icky stained grout, and makes it look brand new. You can even change the color of your grout if you are feeling really crazy. Sure beats a day inside the shower with a bucket of messy mix!
So proud of the latest Home Staging job by our whole Très Chic team, I just had to share a little brag book. Here are a few Before and After shots of this gorgeous home!
Houston dwellers have a small, indistinct window of time when they can work in the attic or garage without suffocating. Although this week will be nippy, winter is the perfect time! While you are putting away those holiday decorations, sort thru boxes, purge, donate that weird Santa doll that scares the kids, re-categorize and store. Now how to get rid of that other garage/attic junk you forgot you even had? Donate to charities or put your extras up on www.freecycle.org . Someone else will take it off your hands. Believe me; somebody might actually want that kitty cat toilet training kit.
