I don't think I've worn jeanshorts since jr high, but am suddenly really into the look again. (I think I had to wait until the supershort cutoff trend had subsided a little.  I'm all for shortshorts, but the kind where u see buttcleave and the bottom half of the pockets was just too JessicaSimpson bent over a car for me)  Hope these fit!

A -- 4/4/11:  Ahhh what a disappointment!  Turns out these are LITERAL cutoffs, as in, they used to be jeans and the bottom thus tightens inward instead of falling straight/flaring out slightly as shorts should.  Have shipped back to seller today, will update if/when refund arrives.  

ps. Seller is SUPER religious - bible verses all over listing/packaging, and included a copy of the new testament w/the shorts that she told me to keep when I inquired about returns.  Saw some ppl actually left negative feedback bc they took offense to having an unwanted bible included in their purchases.  Seems like a nice person tho!

I "need" shorts, esp. non casuallooking ones, and these fit the bill.  Size 10 worries me slightly, but these don't look so big.  My dresssize for DVF is like 4 or 6, and I probably size up a lil for bottoms given my *large ass*, so this could probably work.  With 5 bids already and 5 days to go still, I'm guessing I'll be priced out soon.

T, 2/3/11:  yeah . . . shorts are another thing you gotta be careful about for the sizing.  I remember when I bought my C&C shorts at Loehmanns for a gripmore than I found them later online, I was pretty pissed, but there's no way I would've bought them online without knowing how they fit.

A -- 2/9/11: Bah!!! Sold for $26 w/8 bids, one of which was my $25 bid.  Was trying to enter in a higher bid but stupid Ebay/computer kept signing me out for some reason.  UGH.  This, plus the Elie Tahari cardi that sold for $9.99 bc I missed the auction end, made me SUPER SAD today.

Haven't seen anyone doing it here, but loved the shorts-over-leggings/tights fad in NY.  These seem pretty cute, though at first glance, it's kind of confusing as to which pic is the front v. back.  But shorts are tricky when it comes to fit -- don't really have much fudging rm as with a skirt or dress.  Tried on 00 Theory's before . . . sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.  Will prob end up just watching this one.

Nevermind -- just measured my C&C navy drawstring shorts, with 7" front rise, and 26" waist when flat.  Guess these won't work.

A -- 10/21/10: I like them!  I've been seeing a lot of the tights/shorts thing just in the 24 hrs I've been back here, I like the look, altho it kind of requires chunky heels, and that is not really my look.  I like the striping, it has the seersucker look, which I am a fan of.  I want a seersucker jacket.  Crap another thing to add to my list.

Shorts are perfect for day AND night. Wear flips flops for daytime chic (Halle and Beyonce) then switch to heels for evening glam (Julissa and Brandy). I personally love to wear shorts with crisp, sleeveless shirts i n the summer - especially shirts with "puff sleeves". If you don't have a washboard stomach like myself, my I advise you to invest in shorts with a waist. Low-rise shorts are not our friends!
