It's DVF.  It's vintage (and 'real' vintage, not the '90s kind).  It's 100% silk.  It's floral and drapey and pretty.  It's been relisted at least three times now, always at the same price, altho I think this is the first time it's been free shipping.  My only concern is that it may be too large.  Well, that and the concern that others may bid on it now that I've posted it. (but nobody reads our blog anyway right?  Right?!)  

T, 2/23/11:  How odd that sellers don't reply to you (re your previous offer).  We more or less write the same things, too.  It grows on me the more I look at it.  And we have a vaaaaaaaast audience (helloo out there!). :)  Yeah, if you're worried about sz, I'd hold off.  That's always my numba one concern.

A -- 2/27/11: Aaand WON! Finally broke the terrible streak of losses!  $28.32, not bad right?  I almost feel like I should give this to you, since this is your dream, not mine.  I figured that since I'd been watching this for sooo looong, it was worth the price.  Now, where shall I wear this -- where do I need to look like a '50s housewife?

T, 2/27/11:  CONGRATS not only for breaking your streak, but for acquiring a vtg dvf -- the holy grail of cool!!!  It is NOT a 50's housewife dress, and you should wear RIGHT AWAY.  I see it easily paired w/ a long cami.


A -- 3/10/11: So I love it, it is supersoft and a nice muted yellow and fits veryvery well.  Wore already w/a studded belt to counteract the housewifiness off it all, felt so retrocool!

Saw this pic from the March 2011 issue of Elle Turkey (on jezebel.com) and it reminded me of this dress - I shall have to find some retro pumps and run around doing highkicks.
