Dude, nyex just told me he bought these @Epaulet, a boutique in Brooklyn with a pop-up in Manhattan and an online shop. How the hell is he so much more stylish than me?! It exudes "cool" -- bk, boutique-not-mainstream, brwn-not-blk, borderline hipster . . . wtf. I need to think outside the box.
A -- 10/18/10: umm...I don't see any of that. Not seeing the "cool" that it is supposed to exude, just bc it's bk? But I hate bk. Maybe now that I have more time I will explore some supposedly awesome bk vtg stores and fall in love w/it. NY is full of "boutiques", it's practically mainstream, that's like saying Scoop or Intermix isn't mainstream. Brown does NOT make something have more street cred or whatever, it's a freaking color. And I tend to think of hipsters as all wannabes. I should probably take a better look since they are usually tall and skinny and dark haired and thus could be my type huh? Anyway, are you sure you're not letting his "ideal" DNA influence ur opinion of his style?
