Omg . . . VTG DVF!!!!! Bright yet neutral color, patterned yet not gaudy. I read somewhere that generally, the smallest size for vtg dvfs are sz 8's, which is why you see a lot of 12's and 14's (obv not akin to a modern 12 or 14). I think vtg pucci follows the same sizing. Sooo, this being a 6 means it must really be small! I know the shoulders are def good, and I'll make the waist/length (the two measurements I see the biggest probs with) work! Gaaaah, sooo excited!!!!! Do I hold out if no one bids? God I hope no one bids! This'll be my first (necessary/non sports related) purchase of 2011!!!
A -- 2/5/11: Ugh I want to love it so much, but it is only okay for me. The material looks both worn and dated, like it has been thru way too many washes and is close to being reduced to rag use, and the print is just blah. The color is okay, but this is not worth almost $60 w/shipping!! Ugh! I feel like I'm meeting your bf for the first time, and disliking him
T, 2/6/11: Happy Super Bowl Sunday. :) Okay, you're prob right re fading; that would bug me too. Ran completed listings search, seems like most of seller's auctions ends without bids (except for Coach and D&B items, ugh). Seller sometimes relists for lower, or does a Buy It Now at unsold starting bid price. Meaning, if auction ends with no bids, seller might be up for negotiation. Will see if item ends with no bids, and will offer $35 (vague as to whether that includes S&H, so seller will more likely respond).
T, 2/10/11: $102.50, 9 bids. Who whudda thunk.
