What I Wore on a Dreary Wendnesday

This outfit was worn on a dreary, looks-like-Portland day here in California.  The sweater and blouse I'm wearing were supposed to make it to the shop, but some of the dye bled when I was trying to clean the blouse and the sweater was just too cozy to let go.
 Thanks for your responses to yesterday's post, it seems everyone loves the idea of vintage frames, but a few of you (one being anonymous, mom is that you?) think I should try a different shape.  I can see what you mean, but I think a lot of it is my hair, I really need to get it cut, it's getting very heavy and flat.  If you haven't seen the post, take a look and give me your feedback, I haven't made my decision yet.

New Arrivals: Spring Blouses

Though I am aware that it is still freezing, literally, in most parts these days, it has been in the 70's here in California, so I'm introducing an early Spring to the shop.  I find that light colors and styles are hopeful to look at on dreary days, and at this point, as a shopper,  I would rather put my dollars toward something I can layer now and wear through the fall, than something I can only wear for another month or so.  Here's to hoping the groundhog doesn't see his shadow this year!

Loads of Vintage Coming Soon!

We just got in a whole bunch of vintage and I am busy cleaning and steaming to get these ready for the shop.  I also need to pick up a large bag of clothes from the seamstress.  That is always really fun because I forget what I drop off and then I'm surprised when I see it again.  I remember when I first started selling vintage I could tell you where I got every item and how much I paid for it (not that I would), but now I just have so much I can hardly keep track.  Not such a bad problem to have, I suppose.
