St John Knit & Artichoke Party Dress

I should have shared these a while back, but better late than never.  Here's a few of the outfits I wore to Christmas festivities.  I thrifted the green "artichoke" dress (as my husband called it, fine with me, I love artichokes!) a few months ago and couldn't wait to wear it!  The second outfit is a vintage St. John dress that I bought at the Assistance League Thrift Christmas Sale.  It wasn't cheap, but it was so timeless and it had pockets, I couldn't pass it up!

Rummage Sale Loot

 I went to a church rummage sale last week and came home with a bunch of things I don't need and I am very happy about it.  There are only a few things in life that bring me more joy than finding some amazing worn in leather work boots for 50 cents.  I had Ruby with me which was an adventure, just like writing this post as she crawls back and forth across my lap.  :) She wanted to get out of the stroller which was perfect because I repurposed it into a shopping cart and loaded it up with vintage slips, gloves, shoes, lace, 50's birthday napkins, vintage jewelry boxes, an etched glass pitcher and much more.
