Pink Ribbon and Lollipops

 For the final wedding post, I wanted to do a little post on what Ruby wore.  I was so excited when Steve and Camille asked Ruby to be the flower girl.  After finding several vintage dresses in different colors, we landed on this yellow one, which you may remember from my photo shoot for Cakies.  I switched out the black ribbon for pink and it was perfect.  She had a little metal pail for flower petals, but when we couldn't get the kids to walk down, we gave them lollipops and it ended up looking so cute!  My favorite picture from the wedding is the one of Steve and Ruby dancing, it makes my heart melt.

Sally Jane Vintage

Recently I have been making friends with some of the other wonderful online vintage sellers.  Someone was asking me the other day how I can be friends with the competition?  I explained to them that vintage is one of a kind, so we really aren't competing and we can appreciate the items that another seller has in their shop.  We connect on the plain fact that we think vintage is great and we all are trying to make a living selling what we love! Another satisfied customer...

Another wonderful customer just sent these photos of herself wearing a dress from Salvage Life. Nicole Dinardo of Un Amore, custom designs and paints kitchen aid mixers, skateboards, guitars and probably anything else you could imagine. She needed a dress for a retro photo shoot and she found this beautiful yellow chiffon dress from our shop! Thanks for sharing your photos Nicole!
