My pre-middle school self would kill me over my obsession for lace and pink right now. Always hated buying lace "shells;" didn't think it was worth it, so I like how this has the lacey outer and a nice cami inner. Never heard of the brand -- google'd and found the website, which says it's sold at Nordies, Henri Bendel, etc., though none of those sites carry it on their website. Seller says it's from Nordies, so maybe so. Also, ebay search shows it's sold at Anthro, which doesn't surprise me as it seems very Anthro-y (something thin/translucent/not requiring much fabric yet marked up). This is prob less constricting than the Victorian collar for which I was looking, but is still high enough to be conservative to wear to work; I like how the sleeves aren't flutter and are just reg sleeves in lace; and maybe if I'm feeling gutsy, I can don this as a dress. I wonder, though, if it'd look weird tucked into a skirt, because it is cinched at the waist with string.
A -- 11/18/10: I like it, it's cute and pretty! The two layers go together well...but I dono if it's worth almost twenty bucks. Altho I guess that's really not much. I don't think it should be tucked in tho, the lace part is at the bottom, so it should be seen/shown. Def prefer this to the victorian necked stuff you've shown me before tho!
