AAHHH!!! I have been looking for this dress all year long, and it is ALWAYS around $250 on ebay. This, the Milton dress, and the Nil dress, are my DVF wishlist from earlier this year. Hmm maybe I should do a polyvore for that too...Now I can only hope that this stays at zero bids, bc that would be AMAZING. Slightly concerned re:size, but whatever, I will freaking make it work if I can get it for fifty bucks. I am seriously a little afraid to post this for fear of people scooping me - if someone does buyitnow btwn now and then I am gonna be super paranoid about future posting.
T, 11/16/10: LOL, felt the same re: Chanel wallet, and feel the same re: BCBG leather skirt! You know, as a big DVF lover, I'm actually not crazy about this dress. All the colors are pretty, but I feel it tries to be too much. And the back looks weird -- it's like the back wants to be the front, but didn't make the cut; and the front wants to be a shawl, but didn't get there; and the shawl wants to be a kimono, but was too short. Too many almosts and messes and weirdness. But, for the price, and for the love factor, you should def keep a high[er] max!
A -- 11/18/10: AAHHH!!!! I won!! $51 (there was only one other bidder, who I guess didn't bid more than the starting bid price). I was soooo paranoid leading up to the end of the auction, I even put in the bid w/a lil more time left than usual, just in case I was waaay outbid, so that I'd have time to do buyitnow if needed. (btw my bid max at first was $100, can't believe nobody else bid higher) This was such a deal, retail I think was almost $400, and even on sale it was over $200. YAY!!!!!
T, 11/18/10: CONGRATS!!! Sooo worth it. I've seen bidders who'll bid just for the sake of bidding, since it's super low (maybe to resell, too). A very good steal, hope the seller isn't too sad, lol.
