Ludurana, o esmalte!!!

Agora rapidamente, vejam o kit:

Bjuss!!!

See by Chloe Floral Dress

theoutnet
$173.25 (sale, retail 495.00)
100% cotton

Again kinda much, but it is so cute and pretty!  It is just interesting enough to make me like it, and yet classic enough to be very very versatile.  In the summertime at least.  I dono if I care about the brand enough to pay that much tho...these posts are kind of just random things I wish I could bring myself to buy - not so expensive that they are fantasy wishlists, but not so unreasonably cheap that I'd jump on it.

T, 12/2/2010:  Aw, cute!  I'm a fan of anything girly, esp with small print that's not overwhelming.  Don't like flutter sleeves, but it'd look good on you, and they def add to the cuteness.  I guess for the brand, price is actually rsbl, huh?  It's hard to tell nowadays . . .

Barlow Lattice Back Dress

Saks
$178.20 (sale, retail $297.00)
65% rayon/30% polyester/5% spandex

Saw this while searching for something backless - not backless, but interesting/cute.  I like the color, the shape, the extra booby ness of the front (too slutty?), the zipper all the way down the front.  Just kinda expensive for a regular goingout dress, since it is too distinctive to really wear constantly.  I used to spend way more than this on dresses alllll the time, I wonder if I will ever get back to that state of mind.

T, 12/2/2010:  Actually, the only part I like about this dress is the back -- even then, only because it's kind of interesting/different.  The actual design creeps me out (spiderwebs, anyone?).  Don't like the zipper down the front; looks out of place.  Even the dress color bothers me; it accentuates the zipper's misplaced-ness (though at one point, I lurrrrved burgundy).  Yeah, after just a few cheap "gems," it's hard to spend more . . . even when it's warranted.

Taryn Rose Foxxy Red Flats

Size: 5
Retail: $195

Price: $78
S&H: $6.95
Source: 6pm

Been wanting red flats for a while, since flats are all I wear now, and I'm so boring and need color somewhere.  This is a nice, muted red, not garish, could go with many things.  Should've bought it last time it dropped to $58.  S&H bothers me, since I'm not sure it'll fit (though it should; I've tried on their other stuff before), and I've heard that flats with that cutout may hurt.  But, next time it drops, I'll pull the trigger.

A -- 11/15/10: When I just saw the pics, I was thinking max around $40-$50, and then I saw u said u would get them at $58 lol.  They are cute, and you're right, the muted red is much better for general wear.  I guess I can get behind $58 if it's free shipping, but I'm assuming it won't be.

T, 12/1/10:  Gaaahh!  Am totally co-dependent (as you said), and I need your help!  Flats dropped to $58 again (so much for not checking everyday), and I'm still hesitating, prob because I know I'm gonna be spending a gripload on xmas soon.  What do I do?!

A -- 12/2/10: Just the fact that you did not immediately jump on this and buy when it dropped to $58 again (despite your first post saying you should've bought at $58) indicates to me that you shouldn't buy. I really wish it'd be under $50, but I guess there is no reason to quibble over eight bucks.  Might as well get them, I'm sure you'll wear them a lot, I guess we just get less of a rush out of it if it is not a great deal.  How strange, that our excitement may not actually stem from clothes/fashion, but rather getting expensive stuff for cheap!

Ugg Gold Sequin Boots On Oprah's Favorite Things

Retail: $169

Article says:  "On today's Oprah's Favorite Things Show Part 2 Finale[,] she mentioned some of her favorite things.  Her first set of favorite things included an Apple [iP]ad, her O Magazine app created by Scrollmotion, a Coach sophia patent bag, [] Ugg glitter sequin boots in black, gold, and silver, hope in a jar 8 oz. original formula moisturizer for all skin types [by] [P]hilosophy, [and a] Magashoni cashmere tunic and legging set."

Ugh (or should I say ugg, hee hee), I wonder how much Ugg or Coach endorsed Oprah to say that.  Or maybe she's trying to appeal to the common woman.  Or maybe she really does like these things!  God, I would LOVE to see someone strutting around in one of these sequined monsters -- it could look incredibly retro/cool, or, more likely, stupid and disastrous.

A -- 12/2/10: What's sad is that I actually have many of the things on that list, like the Hope in a Jar, and a Magaschoni cashmere (sweater, that I'm actually wearing right now bc it is so warm).  No Uggs, tho I have bought Ugg slippers for my mom.  I must really buy into society's blatant consumerism.  But then again, I am writing on a blog we use to constantly show each other sh*t we want to buy.  Sweet.

What I Wore on Wednesday

Yesterday I had to be somewhere by 9am and even though I got up at 6:30, I was rushing around at the last minute to get ready.  I threw on some tights, boots, a dress and a sweater and when I looked in the mirror, I had two issues:
1. I looked like a raincloud, so depressing to be wearing all black and gray.
2. Due to the dry weather, my hair was super frizzy.
And so, a colorful vintage hat was a no-brainer to solve my dilemma!
My photos turned out a bit interesting since the camera was focus on the vine, rather than on me, but I kind of like it.
