Dude. Do you remember this dress? It was "on sale" on Net-a-Porter endlessly FOREVER ago, before they even spun off their sale items onto theoutnet. I kept going back to it and gazing at it longingly for I don't even know how long, since even "on sale" it was somewhere around $800 I think. The sizing here is weird, but I'm not sure how to look at it, bc I've seen things say weird sizes that end up fitting perfectly (like the RR white silk top I bought, that said size 10 but w/a supposed 32" chest). I've loved for so long, plus the nostalgia value, that I may want to risk it. Only problem is, I'm almost 100% certain this thing will end up selling in the $500 range, if not more. Max rec?
T, 12/17/10: RIP McQ, but I don't really love this dress. From far away, it looks like a peacock hung upside down . . . or an umbrella. Up close, the pattern reminds me of grossly scary centipedes (ahh!), or cilia on paramecium:
My max would've been $100, despite being lukewarm toward it, solely because it's McQ . . . otherwise, I wouldn't bid at all. Since you love prob 2x as much as me, $200?
