Tia Mowry has really evolved style-wise and I actually look forward to seeing what she’ll be wearing on the red carpet. Here she is wearing those incredibly popular mini, bubble dresses. Instead of the sequins that a lot of dresses have on the top half of the dress, Tia’s has more subtle gem detailing. I picked a dress with a great bow detail to distinguish it from the millions out there. I don’t think these dresses will work with tights but if you through on a cute trench coat and pointy heels you should be ok.

If you want to avoid looking like the other three people at the party wearing a dress like this, go with a purple one instead (Sequin Bubble Dress, $128, www.bebe.com. The black nail polish Tia is wearing on her nails adds a nice twist but opt for a deep purple instead. It’s less severe.

Tia Mowry Covers Jet Magazine…

Long gone are the loveable, yet slightly geeky, twins of “Sister, Sister.” The duo, now 29, are sexy and oh so sophisticated and more importantly branching out on their own. Man can achieve much in five years but only a woman could collect enough vintage treasures worthy of opening a boutique. Meet Nicole Swasey, a television and film assistant director who recently opened “Revival” in Sherman Oaks, California. “I collected [vintage] clothes for five years and had to rent storage units to keep them all in.” It took a while to find the right location, but after two years Swasey found the perfect place to house her colossal collection which includes classics from Missoni and Gucci. Swasey describes her boutique as a cross between Caribbean chic and a Parisian boudoir – the perfect back drop to showcase one-of-a-kind finds. And exactly what makes a piece worthy of showcasing? Swasey says the best finds are still in great condition (i.e. with lining) and were probably expensive even back in the day. Seventies clothing is also a safe bet. But don’t worry, the clothes at Revival are washed before they hit the shelves. “The boutique doesn’t smell like grandma’s attic!,” Swasey assures. Good to know. Too much fabulousness last week! First up are everyone’s favorite twins, Tia and Tamera. They were spotted during LA fashion week at Eduardo Lucero’s Fall 2007 show. Love the green on Tia and her shoes are hot!

Also attending Mercedes Benz Fashion Week was Garcelle Beauvais looking typically radiant. I heard the Kevan Hall collection was fresh and elegant. Love his dresses!

Congratulations to Vanessa Williams who recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Can you believe she was once amidst a Miss USA scandal? She’s come a long way. Vanessa’s dress was perfect for the occasion but what was up with her hair?

Sanaa Lathan is too cute! This outfit is so, “I’m fabulous but not ‘cause I’m trying to be!” I just caught “Something New” on cable and fell in love with Sanaa even more… classic beauty!

I couldn’t pick just four people so I threw in an extra celebrity. Jennifer Hudson has really impressed me these last couple of weeks. Granted she’s lost a lot of weight but that is not what I’m referring to. Her style choices, or perhaps her stylist’s, have vastly improved. I think she looks so elegant in this black, knee length dress that she wore on Letterman… her stock is really on the rise.

Meagan Good, Kenya Moore and Tia Mowry were all at the “Stomp The Yard” premiere (I might actually go to see this movie for the dancing). All the aforementioned ladies looked fabulous, especially Kenya Moore who looked STUNNING in her plum colored dress. Tia Mowry had the best accessory of all. She brought along her cute fiancé Cory Hardrict and made sure the paps got a good pic of her rock! Congrats to her.

Finally, Malinda Williams channeled the 1930s with her short, wavy hair. The dress is a little awkward in the front but the color is perfect for her. Look out for Malinda in Tyler Perry’s next movie “Daddy’s Little Girls.” Until then peep her personal site here.

It’s great to see Deborah Cox after such a long time, “Who Do U Love” was my jam! I’m not too sure about the top, it looks like it’s straining to contain her, but I’m too happy to see her to care! Sitcom celebs were out in force a couple of nights ago for the CW Network Summer TCA Party! For those who don't know the CW Network is a new channel which combines the WB and UPN networks, beginning in September. Tia Mowry has apparently secured a place on the new network's Fall line-up with her spin-off show of Girlfriends called The Game.... Now can someone explain to me how this show is a 'spin-off?' I know when the pilot aired the whole cast of Girlfriends made cameo appearances, but what's the connection?... In anycase i'll be watching, Wendy Raquel Robinson is also in it and I loved her as Principal Grier in The Steve Harvey Show and Bobby's girlfriend in Two Can Play That Game!
