Fedoras have that undeniably old school vibe about them. No matter what outfit you’re wearing, a fedora conjures up memories of Marlon Brando, Frank Sinatra and the rest of the Rat Pack. Vintage clothing is all the rage right now, but can I be honest? The thought of wearing someone else's, grandmother's, 30 year old clothes scares me... :( Vintage inspired clothing is a far safer option for me, so I love shops like Anthropologie and Forever 21 in the U.S. or Topshop Unique and Oasis in the U.K. All have great vintage-style designs ranging from 50's retro style dresses to 20's lace flapper dresses. Nik from ANTM, Nicole Richie and Nicole Ari Parker all took us down memory lane with their old skool dresses on the red carpet. Why don't you try something new and go retro!
