The last days of summer are upon us so it's only fitting that we say goodbye to the season donning floral pieces that conjure up memories of days gone by. If you really want to make a statement, choose bigger more defined floral prints in bright colors such as neon pink, bright yellow and metallic blues (like Ashanti and Zoe Kravitz). If you just don't have the heart, pick pieces with smaller floral prints in demure colors like red, white, beige and pink. These classics that will last long after the season has gone. Prepare to blossom.

Fedoras have that undeniably old school vibe about them. No matter what outfit you’re wearing, a fedora conjures up memories of Marlon Brando, Frank Sinatra and the rest of the Rat Pack. The new school crowd (i.e. our generation) have taken the classic hat to new heights. Women now don fedoras along with their Gucci clutches, Tiffany earrings and Manolos. Zoe Kravitz is in the current issue (March) of Elle Magazine. Gilles Bensimon took the photos and she’s wearing that gorgeous Gucci dress that Oprah wore on Oscar night (see above). I know the pics are late but they go well with the “Hippie Chic” post. Hands up all those who think Ms. Kravitz is going to be the next style icon?... Me too!

Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet were destined to create a beautiful child, and now she’s featured on the cover of French magazine “Jalouse.” As well as modeling, Zoe is also trying her hand at acting. She’ll be starring in two movies next year, one with Catherine Zeta-Jones and the other with Jodie Foster. Don’t they grow up fast?!
