Bride to Be Wears Salvage Life

I got so many comments, emails and tweets yesterday in regards to my "dissatisfaction" post.  It is nice to know that I am not alone in my feelings and that it was a good reminder for many.  Let's continue to encourage each other in this journey.  Today's post is a perfect follow up to that discussion.  Sometimes when you sell online, you feel detached from your customers because you just send the items off and never meet the new owner.  Every now and then, you have a lovely customer like Kelly Lavelle, who bought a dress from our shop for her engagement shoot and just sent me the photos. Such a cute and quirky shoot, they are adorable!  The dress looks fantastic on her!  Her mom hemmed the dress and used the extra fabric to make a sash.  I am so blessed to provide clothing to stylish girls like this and especially during such an important time of life.  All photos by Maria Vicencio Photography, if you click on the link you can see more photos in other fun vintage dresses. 

Upcoming Spring Lookbook Shoot

I've been preparing for our Spring Lookbook Shoot tomorrow and I wanted to share a few of the items and looks that we will be using.  You never know exactly how a shoot will evolve, so this is just a starting point.  It's going to have a retro meets bohemian theme with greens and yellows, florals and stripes.

The following items are new to the Shop!  Full skirted dresses are  our biggest sellers, so we are constantly stocking more of those.  And I am a personal fan of vests of all kinds, they can really change the look of an out fit and are an easy addition to any wardrobe.

Salvage Life Featured in Live Magazines

Salvage Life clothing and jewelry was featured in the October Style and Beauty Issue of Live Long Beach Magazine.  I worked with the stylist, Casey Lum, last month for this spread and was very anxious to see how it turned out.  They ended up using a lot of our pieces, very exciting!
