Coral is the New Pink

I've been really drawn to this pinky coral color lately.  I kept buying things this color without realizing it and pretty soon I had a collection.  I think I like that it is feminine like pink, but with out the toddler or barbie feel.  I feel like a grown up when I wear it.
It started with this bathing suit from Target.
Then I painted my toes with this coral polish from Wet 'n Wild via Target, it 99 cents, seriously?
Next the stripey top from Marshall's.
On to this vintage ring, it's not really my size, so it might end up in the shop!
Lastly, this vintage recipe box from Goodwill.

Today I bought a skirt for Ruby at a thrift store this same color, so it is still going...

Bride to Be Wears Salvage Life

I got so many comments, emails and tweets yesterday in regards to my "dissatisfaction" post.  It is nice to know that I am not alone in my feelings and that it was a good reminder for many.  Let's continue to encourage each other in this journey.  Today's post is a perfect follow up to that discussion.  Sometimes when you sell online, you feel detached from your customers because you just send the items off and never meet the new owner.  Every now and then, you have a lovely customer like Kelly Lavelle, who bought a dress from our shop for her engagement shoot and just sent me the photos. Such a cute and quirky shoot, they are adorable!  The dress looks fantastic on her!  Her mom hemmed the dress and used the extra fabric to make a sash.  I am so blessed to provide clothing to stylish girls like this and especially during such an important time of life.  All photos by Maria Vicencio Photography, if you click on the link you can see more photos in other fun vintage dresses.
