Dear A, endless thanks for finding my trifecta!  Vtg + Chanel + beige skirt . . . can I want anything more?!  It's beautiful; it's perfect.  Rescheduled brunch with O.G. just so I could bid on this -- as you so appropriately said, boys are fleeting, love/attachment for clothes is eternal.  I may cry if I don't win this, lol.  Will not list max on here for fear of someone poaching this.

A -- 12/12/10: You are soooo gonna get this!  Maybe not for the starting bid now that someone has bid, but still for less than your max I'm sure.  I immediately thought of you when I saw this, lol, we know each other's shoppinghabits so well it's almost sad.  Well, sad/awesome.

Btw I still think you should get that top too!

T, 12/12/10:  God, my life has hit an alltime low -- I *DREAMT* about this auction last night.  In the dream, I was trying to place a bid; O.G.was watching me and was annoyed I was paying attn to this and not him (prob symbolic of our purposefully delayed brunch); I first couldn't log onto ebay; then when I did, since I was so nervous, I kept typing my max bid price wrong; I ended up placing my max with 30 secs left; and then all of a sudden, the auction disappeared!  Seller emailed everyone she didn't actually have the skirt anymore -- it was sold previously, but buyer never paid and was supposed to return it.  But, seller found out previous buyer had messed up the skirt, e.g., torn zipper, oil stain (nooo idear why I thought specifically oil -- just something blk).  I woke up soon after.  I should NOT be dreaming about clothes, and I should NOT be this obsessed with an inanimate object, whether I own it or not!

So I won . . . $42.09, 6 bids.  Previously undisclosed max was $60.  LOL, I'm still shaking -- another haute couture piece, and Chanel, at that.  I need to not be this excited about inanimate objects. THANKS AGAIN FOR FINDING!!!

T, 12/16/10:   A lot lighter color in person, and my god, the crotch is HIGH.  Better to wear the skirt so the crotch area is on my side.  Plus, the skirt is creased on its sides, so the hips really poof out and look fat if I wear it the way it's supposed to be worn.  When on its side, the front/back poof out, which is much better.  Good news is the silk fringe is not as delicate/flimsy as I thought it'd be -- wouldn't expect any less quality from Chanel.  Honestly, if I had tried it on in person, I'm not sure I would've bought it -- I used to be the queen of returns before eBay, but yeah . . . this isn't bad, and I still love.

A -- 12/17/10: Yay!!!  I'm so glad you got this (altho I am sad you did not heed my advice to get the top with it!).  Def like the lighterness in reallife, the cream is much better than the yellowish tinge in the listing pics.  I still think you can try to line the bottom half, or wear w/dark tights/leggings, in order to wear it the "normal" way (once the poofiness subsides), but either way, supercute!
